FLAGSHIP EVENT

Māmā in Arms Hibiscus Coast, New Zealand

Mama in Arms - community event series

From October to November 2019, we held five panel discussions on the topics of Mothers' care, well-being and self-development, addressing all the milestones of the motherhood journey: Getting pregnant, Pregnancy, Birth & Feeding choices, Postnatal care and Self-development.

We gathered local Mums and Specialists to facilitate a comprehensive list of subjects like fertility, mental health, nutrition, fitness, relaxation, career and even libido.

This project was conceived to prove the social impact Education has when made accessible to more underprivileged segments of the population.

It is also rooted in Māori values around collaboration and community support which have profoundly influenced the vision for this project.

"Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi Engari, he toa takitini." - “My strength is not that of a single warrior but that of many.”
